Unique Student Identifier (USI)

The Federal Government requires participants undertaking an accredited first aid training course to have a Unique Student Identifier (USI). A Statement of Attainment or Certificate cannot be issued under legislation by St John Ambulance Australia until your USI is received, validated and processed as part of your course enrolment. USI's are required for all St John Ambulance Australia accredited courses including one-day First Aid and CPR courses.

If you do not yet have a USI, you can obtain one at the USI website. Creating a USI is very simple and takes only a few minutes.

Please register your USI against your St John Ambulance customer record by completing the fields below. If your USI fails to validate you should check your details and try again, ensuring that the information you enter matches your personal details exactly as they are recorded on the USI website. If you require assistance please call our support team on (03) 8588 8590 during business hours.

All Registered Training Organisations offer participants enrolled the opportunity to complete information which is collected then made available to the National Centre for Vocational Education Research (NCVER).
